Hazardous Cargo
We specialise in the carriage and handling of Dangerous Goods. All our drivers are ADR trained and our vehicles are fitted with all the necessary ADR equipment.
We handle on a regular basis, out of gauge cargo, in particular hazardous full loads of drums, pallets or IBC containers. We hold a large stock of all hazardous labels required by the Shipping Lines, and are fully conversant with the completion of all necessary hazardous paperwork. We carry all hazardous classes except classes 1 and 7.
The out of gauge cargo is loaded on either 20-foot or 40-foot flat racks, and with all the stringent rules given to the loading of this equipment, becomes a full-time job on its own.
Some of our more memorable contracts include 50 Harley Davidson motorcycles to a rally in Canada, full-size dinosaur models for a museum display in Europe, and over 300 tonnes of Railway junctions and track to South Africa. All arrived in time and undamaged.
